Presenting Climatopia project in the International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education: ICICTE 2023.

On 6 July 2023, the Fundación Siglo22 (Spain) attended the International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education (ICICTE 2023) in Lesvos (Greece). This Congress, dedicated to ICT in Education has been alive for 23 years.

There, it had the opportunity to present the Climatopia simulation and decision making game to the participants. More than 10 people attended the workshop given by Siglo22 to explain the project. This year, the conference was about climate change and how to raise awareness among young people, so our project, Climatopia, was a perfect fit. The feedback we received from the participants was very positive. We were all very happy.

During this small workshop, Siglo22 had the opportunity to teach the participants the simulation and decision-making game. 
After explaining the context in which the game takes place, the methodology used and the tool (Genially), the participants were given the opportunity to play. 
For a few minutes, the participants themselves entered the Climatopia world and played in all its scenarios. 

To conclude, and taking into account that the game is still in its draft version, the participants were asked to fill in a form with suggestions, changes or other ideas they might have. 

Overall, we were happy because the feedback was very positive.
